What is dream interpretation
Dream interpretation is the search for meaning in the images that appear during sleep. In the Jungian view a dream is not a message from outside and cannot be translated with a dream dictionary — it is the language in which the dreamer speaks about themselves.
So “water means emotions” does not hold the same for everyone. The same symbol can mean something different for two people.
How the app works with it
From the dream you write down, the symbols are picked out — recurring images and figures. To those it adds the archetypal layer (which familiar pattern is showing up in the dream) and a reflection that ties it to your own chart.
At the end there is no answer but a question. A dream is not a riddle with a solution; it is a prompt for thinking.
Why write dreams down
One dream says little. Meaning shows up in repetition — when the same symbol comes back a third time, that is information. This is why the app stores dreams and looks for what keeps returning in them.
For some dreams interpretation is not the right response. If the text carries a signal of a real crisis, the app does not interpret the dream and says so.
