Your child's birth chart: understanding what they need

A child's birth chart in AstroJung is a reading written for the parent. It describes what your child needs to feel safe, the path their disagreement takes, and where their world meets yours.

Most parents aren't asking who their child will become. They want to understand them today. And many quietly carry another question too: did I get something wrong?

The Moon: the need for safety

The Moon in a child's chart is no verdict on the parent. It describes what the child needs to feel at home. One settles in quiet, and the words come later. Another needs movement and closeness before something inside can loosen.

Once you know this need, it becomes easier to tell when your child is closing off from you and when they are simply looking for room to recover.

Disagreement and anger

Anger finds its own path in every child. In some it shows at once and out loud; in others it turns inward and returns as sadness or harshness towards themselves. Mars and Saturn in the chart suggest which path it takes, and what helps in that moment.

Where your worlds meet
